Incorrect information is found on the internet claiming that this rose does not tolerate rain and heat well. This variety is not afraid of rain or strong sun! It is a beautiful variety with an unusual color, but Shocking Blue does not fully live up to its name. The flowers are fuchsia-pink with a lilac reverse: due to the play of light and shadow on the wavy petals, the flower appears dark lilac or purple. The flowers are large, shaped like hybrid tea roses, appearing in clusters of 3-5 pieces. Long shoots make them ideal for cutting. The narrow, elongated bush also makes this variety suitable for florists. Shocking Blue is a very fragrant variety. The foliage is dark, glossy, tough, and disease resistant. The bush grows quickly and responds well to pruning, producing new flowering shoots faster. The best quality flowers in terms of size and color appear in cool weather.
