This strong-growing hybrid tea rose is one of the darkest among red roses at the moment. Unfortunately, Schwarze Madonna has no fragrance. Nevertheless, in all other respects, it is a magnificent variety. The flowers are large, densely double, and a very dark red color, almost black, with a velvety appearance, especially on the outside. They maintain their color well, and the flowers themselves last a long time on the bush and hold up well when cut. They usually appear singly at the ends of strong shoots. The bush is tall and powerful, with dark green glossy foliage that is disease-resistant, beautifully contrasting with the flowers. It branches well, and over time, the bush spreads widely, with many long shoots adorned with magnificent flowers.
