Floribunda /Polyantha/
This rose has several names and symbolizes elegance and cheerfulness. It embodies bright beauty with raspberry-colored flowers adorned with a white center and bright yellow stamens. Small, single-petaled flowers form impressive clusters, each containing up to 60 blossoms. They retain their vivid color even in damp weather and hold well on the bush for a long time. The rose is well-suited for both partially shaded areas and hot climates. Its delicate, shiny, bright green foliage creates a dense and uniform crown. The bush is characterized by branched growth and a compact, spherical shape. Flowering shoots regularly grow from the base of the bush, which can be trained upward on supports, forming a climbing rose. This variety is resistant to most diseases and is excellent for creating hedges and mixed borders.
The rose has received numerous international awards, including gold medals in Baden-Baden, Rome, and the ADR prize in Germany, confirming its high quality and popularity among gardeners and florists. It is named after Marjorie Tolchif, the first American of Indian descent to become the prima ballerina of the Paris Opera.
