Floribunda

A Japanese garden rose bred for the emperor. The color is bright peach, accented with creamy and coral tones. When fully open, the bud reveals its center, and the petals curve outward in a “corner” shape. The foliage is dark green. The flowers are large, semi-double or double, borne in small clusters on strong stems. It blooms in waves throughout the season. The rose was named in honor of a Japanese princess and translates as “beloved” or “child of love.” In semi-open form, the bud measures about 7 cm, and within six days, it opens to 11 cm while preserving its beautiful shape. The stem length is 40–60 cm, and the rose has no lateral shoots. The flowers last in a vase for 10–12 days. The bush is medium-sized and has low winter hardiness.
