Park rose /Hybrid Rugosa/
The flowers of Pink Robusta are delicate pink, semi-double, with a white spot in the center and pale stamens. The petals are large, wavy, appearing in large numbers in clusters of 3-7 (sometimes more or fewer), almost continuously until the first frost. Pink Robusta is densely leafed, with dark, glossy foliage that is disease-resistant. The bush is less thorny than the original variety. Its winter hardiness makes it popular in Canada, Scandinavia, and Central Europe. This is a tall bush, excellently suited for planting in public parks and large spaces. When the bush is in full bloom, it draws attention from a long distance.
This rose is very similar to its ancestor Robusta. The flowers are warm pink in tone, appearing in large neat clusters on stiff upright shoots. They are semi-double, loose, fairly large, slightly cup-shaped. In public parks or as a hedge, the rose attracts attention from a distance. It blooms for an extended period in summer and autumn and has a pleasant fragrance. The bush is sturdy, vigorous, and of medium height. The foliage is large and dark green.
