Climbing rose
The bush is vigorously growing and hardy, reaching up to 2–2.5 meters in height and about 1 meter in width. It has branched, strong shoots covered with dense foliage and few thorns. The leaves are large, dark green, and very glossy. Bright copper-red buds of elegant pointed shape bloom into amber-apricot flowers with outer pinkish petals. The flowers are large (up to 12 cm in diameter), semi-double (20-26 petals), and cup-shaped. They are gathered in lush clusters of 3-5 flowers. The flowers have a rich fragrance. Blooming is abundant and repeatable, and under favorable conditions, it can last the whole season. The variety is very hardy and has high disease resistance. It is fairly frost-resistant but requires winter protection. The Moonlight variety won the gold medal and the title of "Best Climbing Rose" at the rose competition in Belfast in 2007. It is excellent for vertical landscaping, looks superb on various supports and pergolas, and will become a bright decoration for gazebos and recreation areas.
