Shrub rose
Mikoto is the result of the meticulous work of the famous Japanese breeder Keiji Kunieda. Thanks to Keiji's efforts, this variety has high resistance to black spot and good resistance to powdery mildew. Additionally, this variety tolerates heat well, with flowers retaining their shape and freshness during rain. The rose bushes reach up to 70-100 cm in height and up to 60 cm in width. The bush has a fairly compact, semi-spreading shape. The shoots are quite strong, the leaves large and semi-glossy. The large flowers are colored in light pink-apricot tones. When looking at a fully opened bud, one can notice how the rose plays with pale pink colors on the edges and peach tones in the center. The delicate pleasant aroma is easily detected when approaching the bush.
