Floribunda
Lübecker Rotspon celebrates the red wine of Lübeck, which was imported from Bordeaux and allowed to mature in the Hanseatic city.
A magnificent low-growing floribunda. The flowers are dark red, the same shade on both sides of the petals, later becoming almost black. They are medium-sized, slightly cup-shaped, with many small short petals. They appear in clusters of 3-11 (usually 5-7), and the petals fall cleanly after blooming. The bush is low and neat, with beautiful dark green glossy foliage, very resistant to diseases except for slight susceptibility to black spot. It blooms late but then flowers almost continuously until autumn.
