The velvety dark red buds of this rose are gathered in clusters and open into scarlet cup-shaped flowers about 8 cm in diameter. A light, fresh rose fragrance is noticeable only up close. The variety blooms all summer. The shrub is about 0.8 m tall with reddish, later matte green foliage. It is also suitable for hedges. This popular rose has received several awards.

Prevention against powdery mildew is required.
