The rose flowers have a dark red velvety tone, classic cup shape, and reach a diameter of 12–15 cm. The scent of this rose is very strong, reminiscent of old roses with notes of fruit, geranium, and clove. This variety blooms repeatedly and abundantly, continuing until frost. The rose bush Jubilé Papa Meilland grows in a vertical form and reaches a height of 70 to 90 cm and a width of 40 to 60 cm. The stems are strong, the leaves are semi-matte and green, with high disease resistance. The variety also has a high level of frost resistance.
The rose has received several awards, including a fragrance award and a silver medal at the Le Roeulx exhibition (2014), a certificate at the Hradec Králové exhibition (2016), and second place at the International competition in Nantes (2018).
