Floribunda /Japanese rose/

A charming rose, whose beauty lies in its bicolor, large flowers. The luxurious petals are a harmonious combination of red tones and a soft lemon-colored reverse, creating a variety of unique blooms on the bush, each unlike the other. The flowers are about 10–12 cm in diameter and very full, with approximately 45 petals. Their strong fragrance enhances this celebration of beauty. The rose delights with wave-like flowering throughout the season. A mature bush reaches 80–90 cm in height and 40–50 cm in width. The dark green, glossy foliage provides greenery and serves as a backdrop for the bright bicolor petals. The variety is characterized by high winter hardiness. “Gipsy” is perfectly suited for plantings, borders, and rose alleys. Breeder Seizo Suzuki from Japan created this variety in 1985, and it has won many awards, including gold medals at the rose competitions in Monza (Italy) and The Hague (Netherlands), as well as silver medals in Kortrijk (Belgium) and Saverne (France). Under various names, such as “Gipsy Carnival,” “Kibo,” “Kiboh,” “Lovita,” “Gypsy Carnival,” and “Gipsy,” this rose has conquered the hearts of flower lovers worldwide. By choosing the “Gipsy” rose for your garden, you make it brighter and more unique.
