Rose is named after the legendary American singer and actress Doris Day (née Doris Mary Ann von Kappelhoff), born in 1924. During her career, she has appeared in more than 40 films and recorded 45 music albums.

Rose buds are pointed and elegant. The flowers are large, up to 12 cm in diameter, packed (up to 50 petals), pure golden yellow, old-fashioned, slightly "wrinkled". The aroma is strong, sweet, spicy. Re-blooming. The foliage is glossy, dark green, resistant to diseases.
