The Brown Velvet rose, also known by the synonyms Brown Velvet, MACultra, Colorbreak, and Color Break, was bred by McGredy in New Zealand in 1983. This variety belongs to the floribunda group and has bright flower coloring. The bush of this variety is spreading, neat, and well-developed. The flower size is 7-8 cm in diameter, with up to 35 petals. Among the advantages of the Brown Velvet rose is its abundant repeat flowering. It delights with its beauty and fragrance not only in summer but also in autumn. The Brown Velvet rose blooms abundantly with repeat flowering from June to the end of October. The flowering intensity of this variety is high; the plant blooms profusely, making it very attractive to rose enthusiasts. The flowers of this variety are vermilion-red-orange with a smoky bloom. They grow in clusters and have a double form. The number of flowers on one stem can reach 5-10.
