Tea Hybrid

The "Anuschka"® rose — a creation of the renowned Tantau nursery — forms part of the Nostalgie® collection. The buds are grouped in clusters, opening gradually to reveal a graceful, nostalgic shape when in full bloom. The colour is violet-purple, which gradually changes to dark pink over time. The flowers are densely double. The fragrance is very intense and strong. It is a repeat-flowering variety. The shrub is sturdy and upright in growth. The foliage is glossy, dark green, healthy and resistant to black spot and powdery mildew. This rose is incredibly versatile. It grows beautifully in flowerbeds, in mixed plantings of perennials and roses, in small or large groups, and in gardens of various styles. It is ideal for cutting. The variety is frost-hardy.

In June 2019, the hybrid tea rose "Anuschka"® took part in the new variety competition in Baden-Baden — one of the world’s most important rose competitions. The rose’s radiant, beautiful flowers and its remarkably healthy, glossy foliage impressed all members of the judging panel. As a result, "Anuschka" was crowned the Beauty Queen of the finest rose varieties and awarded the 2019 Golden Rose.
