Floribunda
The outstanding feature of this wonderful rose is that it blooms very late, after other floribundas have finished their first flowering. Anne Harkness flourishes with its huge clusters of flowers at a time when most roses have a pause in blooming. The flowers are an intense apricot color, with a darker reverse side of the petals and a dark yellow hue in the center, and the petals curl beautifully, as with most Harkness roses. Each cluster has 6–20 flowers, the clusters are wide, and almost all the flowers in a cluster bloom simultaneously, making this rose very popular for bouquet making. The bush is disease-resistant and blooms well repeatedly. (ARE)
Fully double, apricot-yellow flowers appear in clusters on long shoots, making it well suited for cutting. Light fragrance. The bush is vigorous, upright, with beautiful foliage. It blooms later than most roses; the flowers are resistant to rain and humidity. Responds well to heavy pruning. (IER)
