Flowers pure white, fragrant, arranged in large clusters of 5–9. Blooms abundantly and almost continuously from June until frost; some of the spent flowers develop into fruits. Shrub compact, slightly spreading, densely branched with many thorny shoots. Leaves green, leathery, glossy with pronounced veins.
